West Bengal Council of Yoga and Naturopathy had celebrated "International Day of Yoga" on dated 21st June of every year and also celebrated "Naturopathy Day" from 2018 on dated 18th November of every year as Yoga and Naturopathy is based on a drugless, non-invasive system of Medicine involving the use of natural materials in its treatment based on the theory of vitality, the theory of toxemia, the theory of the self healing capacity of the body and the principal of healthy living.

Now, West Bengal Council of Yoga and Naturopathy has given affiliation & accreditation for one year Yoga and Naturopathy certificate course to twenty six (26) institutions within the whole West Bengal; who has performed for the promotion & propagation of Yoga and Naturopathy system of medicine.

WBCYN. also perform a vital role for giving registration to the person who are self educated as "Class "A", Class "B" & registered Yoga trainee as per prescribed manner which is described in West Bengal yoga and Naturopathic System of Medicine Act, 2010 and West Bengal Yoga and Naturopathic System of Medicine Rules,2015.
There are three B.N.Y.S doctors are registered from West BengalCouncil of Yoga and Naturopathy.
There are 102 people are self educated registered practitioners of Class "A" & Class "B" and 1003 people are registered yoga trainee from WBCYN.

There are 26 (approximately) affiliated institutions from West Bengal Council of Yoga and Naturopathy who are perform'bne year yoga and naturopathy certificate course for promotion & propagation of yoga & naturopathy medical science.

Examination of One Year Yoga and Naturopathy certificate Course examination was conducted through Calcutta Homoeopthic Medical College & Hospital, 265-26, A.P.c Road, Kolkata-700009, D N De Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, 63, A.P.C Road, Kolkata - 700009, North Bengal medical College & Hospital Sushrutnagar, Siliguri.
